Burntwood Hall Care Centre
Surrounded by magnificent mature gardens, Burntwood Hall is a residential care home for older people in the village of Brierley Common near Barnsley. With 32 beds, the home also provides respite, convalescent and day care services.
The 18th century manor house has been fully refurbished and redecorated to create a cosy and comfortable home and the bathroom facilities are fitted with modern equipment to ensure the health and safety of residents with limited mobility.
Our activities co-ordinator plans a regular programme of games, including bingo and beetle drives as well as arts and crafts. The entertainment schedule features sing-a-longs and visits by entertainers and musicians and popular trips out include the theatre, garden centres, the seaside and local tourist attractions.
